Harold E. Richardson, 87, of Friendship Manor died of a stroke Thursday, Oct. 20, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Reese Chapel in Newton, with burial in Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg.

He was born south of Kellogg and lived in the area all his life, moving to Grinnell in August of this year. Mr. Richardson was a retired farmer. He was a charter member of the Richland Grange and a member of the Farm Bureau and the Killduff United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Laurine and two sisters, Esther Sharp of Grinnell and Irma Sharp of rural Kellogg.

Memorials may be made to the Killduff United Methodist Church.
