Margaret Delores "Dee" O'Braza, age 83 formerly of Colfax, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017, at Bishop Drumm in Johnston. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax. Burial will take place at Colfax Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at a luncheon at the church. Memorials may be directed to the church and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Bernard and Margaret (Hopkins) Craig, Dee was born on October 10, 1933, in Newton. Dee worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines for many years. On April 14, 1951, she was united in marriage to Joseph F. O'Braza at St. Peters Parsonage in Des Moines. Dee was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Dee was also a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Those left to honor her memory include her three sons, Steve J. (Sandy) O'Braza of Carlisle, Ron J. (Vickie) O'Braza of Des Moines and Mike C. (Donna) O'Braza of Urbandale; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Joseph in 2010, and four sisters, Pat, Mary, Connie and Joan. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 2 June 2017.
