Dale Harter, 78, Dies Sunday
Dale W. Harter, 78, of Mingo, an implement dealer in Mingo for more than 30 years, died Sunday at Maquoketa following a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Mingo United Methodist church. Burial was in the Graham Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Audra; two sons, Ralph of Mingo and Richard of Frankfort, Kentucky; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Harter, a member of the American Legion, was a veteran of World War I.
The son of Stilwell and Cordia Meese Harter, he was born February 21, 1899 at Maxwell.
He was married to Audra Campbell May 18, 1925, at Adel.
