Life Story of Clyde Fouch
Clyde Fouch, 88, a longtime resident of the Monroe community, died Monday afternoon at the Skiff Hospital in Newton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Crumpacker funeral Home in Monroe. Rev. Wayne Anderson was in charge of the services.
Burial was in Monroe Cemetery.
Death was attributed to pneumonia.
Mr. Fouch, a retired farmer and insurance man, had been a resident of Nelson manor in Newton for the past 10 years.
Survivors are three grandchildren, Clyde and Darrell Fouch and Mrs. Joyce Cox, and two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Perrin and Mrs. Callie Sellers.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Park and John; his wives, the former Fannie Estel and the former Maggie Valentine, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fouch.
Mr. Fouch was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
A native of Jasper County, he had spent most of his life in the Monroe community. He was born September 27, 1877.
