Crees Ferguson was born Feb. 33, 1874 at Clyde, Jasper County, Iowa and departed this life December 10, 1923. He was united in marriage Feb. 14, 1898 to Miss Lucinda Clement. To this union were born three children, Wm. and Mrs. Opal Stier of Mingo and Mrs. Nellie Raley of Baxter. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his children, three grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. John Oswalt of Runnells, Mrs. Amos Stier of Baxter, and Mrs. Chas. Berry of Clyde, also three brothers, Chas. and Wm. of Lowry, Mo., and Sherman of Baxter. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Abe Kern of Collins and were held at the Mingo M.E. Church Wednesday afternoon. Interment was made at Kintz Cemetery.
