Death of Former Colfax Resident
Abram P. Danks, 65, of Des Moines died Monday night at the Veterans Hospital in that city, following a long illness.
Mr. Danks grew to manhood in the Seevers and Colfax communities. He is an uncle of Mrs. Ralph Owens of Colfax.
Survivors are a son, Don, of Minnesota, four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. His wife preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 1 p.m. at Conley’s Capital Hill Funeral Home at Des Moines.
Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.
