Died – At his home in this city Thursday, August 24, 1893, George Snow; aged 43 years.
Mr. Snow was born in Orange county, New York, but for 15 years past had been a resident of Colfax. His fatal malady was quick consumption. He was known by every citizen of Colfax, was everybody’s friend, and had not an enemy on earth. An aged mother, two sisters, two brothers and an only son survive him. The funeral was from the M. E. church this afternoon; Rev. Cozier conducted the service, and the remains were interred at Oak Hill.
