Life Story of Chester Marshall
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist in Monroe, Saturday, August 14 for Chester Arthur Marshall.
Rev. Eldon Pals conducted services. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery.
Chester Marshall, son of Meek and Rebecca Waddle Marshall was born May 10, 1912 in Monroe. He entered into rest August 12 at his home at the age of 64 years. On October 23, 1930, he was united in marriage to Gladys Clevenger. To this union was born the two sons and one daughter.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys, two sons, Harlan and daughter-in-law, Delores, Larry and daughter-in-law, Darlene, one daughter and son-in-law John and Mary Stravers all of Monroe. Four grandsons, Keith, Kevin, Danny, and Scott and one granddaughter, Amy. Also one sister Mrs. John Nee of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters. He farmed in the Monroe area from 1930 to 1976. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
