Last evening at 10:30 o’clock little Lawrence Hayden, the three month’s old son of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds died at their home on South Street.

The immediate cause of the baby’s death was heart failure, but all its short life had been weak and ailing and the friends could see, during the last few weeks, that it grew weaker instead of stronger. The funeral will be held at the United Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m. tomorrow. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Tuesday, August 29, 1905, Page 1, Column 4
