Yesterday in Kellogg at 10 o’clock occurred the funeral of Harry Holdsworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Holdsworth. He had been sick but a short while and at no time during his illness was he unable to get up and dress himself. His disease was typhoid fever and pneumonia. He was a good boy, liked by all who knew him. Was a member of the Kellogg Band, which attended the funeral in a body. Rev. Crull officiated at the funeral services. Interment in the Kellogg Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gowing, an uncle and his wife of this city, attended the funeral. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Monday, September 11, 1905, Page 1, Column 4
