The remains of A. C. Mowrey, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. V. A. Cleveland of Crete, Nebraska, Saturday morning, arrived in this city last evening. Mr. Mowry formerly lived in Newton and was the father of Mrs. Georgia Drew. The funeral was held at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Cunningham, this afternoon at 2:30. Rev. G. L.
