Died - Charles Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Strattan, departed this life Oct. 29, 1893, aged 3 mos. and 8 days, of spinal Meningitis. Funeral services at residence on last Sabbath afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. C. Harrah.

"Dearest son and brother,
Thou has left us,
Here thy loss we deeply feel
But it is God who has bereft us
He can all our sorrows heal.

Yet again we hope to meet thee,
When the day of life is fled
Then in heaven with joy to greet three
Where no farewell tear is shed."

We desire to thank those kind friends and neighbors who, in our sore affliction have ministered to our wants and who sent in flowers and other tokens of neighborly kindness in our hour of affliction.
