Joann Marie Cole-Prybil

Joann Marie Cole-Prybil born August 6, 1954 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2000.

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, November 21 at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax with Rev. Jill Flyr officiating.

Joann was a loving wife and mother and worked as a cardiac cath lab nurse for twenty years. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1972. After receiving her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa, Joann quickly advanced to critical care nursing at the University Hospital. She went on to coronary care and eventually became an astounding cardiac cath nurse at Del Oro Hospital and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, both in Houston, Texas. Most recently, she worked in S. Luke's Radiology Department. Joann held numerous professional certifications and was a member of Friendswood Friends Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Marie Cole on October 16, 2000.

Joann is survived by her husband, Jimmy Prybil; her two daughters, Natasha Nicole Prybil and Alexandra Michelle Prybil, all of Friendswood, Texas; her father, James A. Cole of Colfax, Iowa; two brothers, David Cole of Fountain Hill Arkansas and Mark Cole of Houston, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice at Texas Medical Center, 1905 Holcombe, Houston, Texas 77030 or the American Cancer Society, 6401 Richmond, Houston, Texas 77057 in memory of Joann Prybil. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa thur 23 Nov 2000.
