Lee Dawson

Lee Dawson, 71, of Redding, Calif., a former resident of Ira and Baxter, died Sunday, Jan 9, at Redding.

Funeral services are pending.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Caroline) Maxwell of Mingo, Mrs. Leland (Opal) Taylor and Mrs. Arthur (Marjory) Lash, both of Newton; a brother, Glen Dawson of Redding, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews in the Baxter, Mingo and Colfax communities.

The son of Thomas and Hazel Counch Dawson he was born in Ira and attended rural schools in Jasper County. He was graduated from Lamoille High School.

Mr. Dawson had resided in Redding for approximately 35 years. ~ The Newton Daily News, Wed 1 Feb 1984.
