Christopher Eric Tetrick, age 32 of Prairie City, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Suicide Prevention Council. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of Eric Grover Tetrick and Myra Joan Pencil, Chris was born on July 23, 1984 in Muscatine, Iowa. He attended the Louisa Muscatine School district. On November 18, 2014, he was united in marriage to Tonya Sloan in Prairie City. Chris grew up in the Letts area and moved to Prairie City in 2010.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Tonya; two step children, Turner and Jaden Sloan; his parents, Eric and Myra Tetrick; a sister, Elizabeth Tetrick; a brother, Jeremiah Tetrick; his grandmother, Loretta Tetrick and a niece, Hayden Tetrick.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Hade Tetrick, Patricia Kallaus, and Charles Pencil; an Aunt Mary Ann Weston and a cousin Gallaway True. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 9 Oct 2016.
