Baby Daughter Dies
After Only a Short Illness Little Francis Dolph Succumbs
This morning the little infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dolph died after only a few days illness. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph, who live four and a half miles northeast of town returned home last Friday from a fortnight’s visit in Mills County. One of the other children had been sick and they stopped in town at her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asher Dunn’s home, where the baby daughter, Francis M. was taken violently ill with bowel trouble.
Little Francis would have been nine months old the 22nd of this month. She was a dear sweet baby and greatly loved by the parents and her two little sisters, Hazel and Mildred.
The funeral will be held at the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Asher Dunn’s home tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Rev. E. F. Gillis will officiate. The interment will be in the Newton cemetery.
