Former Newton Woman Dies In Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. George (Gretchen) Hasselbrink, 27, former Newton woman, died suddenly at her home in Chicago, Ill., at 11:30 Monday night of a heart attack.
She was born Dec. 17, 1916, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Smith, and had lived in Chicago for the past three years.
She is survived by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Lois Joan, 11, and Rita Lee, 7; a brother, Clarence
E. Scott, of Newton, and three sisters, Mrs. O. R. (Florence) Yunker, of Newton, Mrs. Andrew (Esther) Jensen, of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. O. G. (Imogene) Green, of Bureau, Ill.
The funeral services will be held at the Morgan Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Bauer, of Kellogg, in charge. Date has not been set pending word from a sister.
Interment will be in the Newton Union cemetery.
