Amelia Brant/ Colfax, Ia. Services for Amelia Brant, 77, who died Thursday of a heart ailment at her home here, will be at 2 p.m, Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery. Mrs. Brant was born in a coal mining camp near Colfax and reared in the area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Colfax.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Lou Ketels of Eldora and Imogene Roberts of Benbrook, Texas; a son Robert of Costa mesa, Calif.; four Brothers James Thomas, Arthur Thomas of Colfax, Gomer Thomas of Newton and David Thomas of Healdsburg, Calif; a Sister, Dorothy Kennedy of Rock Island Ill; nine granchildren and nine great-grandchildren

Amelia Brant died Thursday, May 23, 1985 at her home in Colfax. Born to Arthur and Mary Jane Pratt
Thomas in 1908. Burial in the Colfax Cemetery. Survivors are a son, Robert of Costa Mesa, Calif: two daughters, Mrs. Elston (Barbara Lou) Ketels of Eldora and Mrs. Robert (Imogene) Roberts of Benbrook Texas: nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, James Thomas and Arthur Thomas, both of Colfax, Gomer Thomas of Newton and David Thomas of Healsburg, Calif: and a sister, Dorothy Kennedy of Rock Island, Ill.
