Charles F. Worley, our photographer, passed out of this life on last Thursday afternoon. He had been in poor health for several years, but of late was confined to his bed with rheumatism and other complications, which were more than his strength could overcome.
Charles F. Worley was born August 28, 1873, near Percy, Ia., and died at his home in Monroe, Ia., April 15, 1920, age 46 years, 7 months and 13 days.
Mr. Worley was united with the Christian church at Siloam Springs, Arkansas several years ago. Since moving back to Iowa he has held his membership with the Christian church in Prairie City, Iowa.
Mr. Worley was united in marriage to Miss Eva M. Bowman November 27, 1895. To this union was born four children, two daughters, Iona May, Dollie Wilma and two sons, William Harry and Paul Wesley. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his children, his wife, two sisters, Mrs. O. E. Shaffer, of Monroe, and Mrs. Ida A. Gadberry of Cabool, Mo., and his father, J. W. Worley and a host of friends.
The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. A. C. Droz.
The family wishes to thank the friends and neighbors who rendered kind assistance in their bereavement.
