Services Held
Graveside rites for Glenn E. Woody, 82, of the Jasper County Care Facility were held Saturday April 16 at the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Elder Glen Oswalt of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints conducted services.
He died Wednesday evening at the Skiff Medical Center.
Survivors are a son, Glenn J. Woody of Newton; a daughter Mildred (Mrs. Don) Slycord of Newton; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-sister, Tina Postma.
The son of Frederick and Minnie Sheeler Woody, he was born July 23, 1905 in Monroe.
