Services for Juanita Corinne Williams were held Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Lee Owens officiated the services. Burial was in Hewitt Cemetery, rural Galesburg.
Juanita Corinne Williams passed away Friday, June 24, 2005, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Born May 10, 1922, in Reasnor, Iowa, Juanita attended Reasnor school and had lived in both Reasnor and Newton. She worked at Maytag Company, Ankeny ordinance, and in the factory at Vernon Company. She belonged to the Newton Salvation Army.
Survivors are two sisters, Wilma Stidham and Mrs. Ralph Ficken of Newton; two nieces, Sheila (Mrs. Leroy) Staub of Newton and Sherry (Mrs. Will) Moon of Afton, Virginia; and one nephew, Randy and Sandy Stidham of Newton. She also left several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, and a brother, Lawrence Williams.
