Obituary of F. A. Whitted
Francis Arthur Whitted, son of Joseph and Lucy Whitted, was born October 1, 1869 and passed away at his home in Monroe July 29, 1952, at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 29 days.
His entire life was spent in the Monroe community, being one of the pioneers of Jasper county. He was the last survivor of 10 children.
He was united in marriage to Elva A. Lackey, July 3, 1895. To this union were born two children, Ivor A. (who preceded him in death three years ago) and a daughter, Mrs. Velta Jarnagin (who has made her home with them the past year).
He is survived by his wife, daughter, granddaughter, Dorothy Jean Mathews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted in the Baptist church by the Rev. Donald Brong and interment was made in the Monroe cemetery.

Mex., Everette Buckley, Perry, Mrs. Don Chalaupka, Bagley, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Summey, Lineville, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Summey, Ed Summey, Bertha West, John Hix and Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Hardin, Pleasantville.
