Services Held
Services for Mark Allen White, 33, of Reasnor, were held Wednesday, September 23, 1999, at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home. Rev. merle Smith, Chaplain of Skiff Medical Center and Rev. Duane Skidmore, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Kellogg, and Rev. Mark Jacobs, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Newton officiated the services. Burial was in Newton Memorial Park in Newton.
Mark passed away Saturday, September 18, 1999, at Heritage Manor Care Center in Newton of cancer.
Memorials are suggested for Hospice of Jasper County.
The son of Arnold and Pauline Roberta Brown White, Mark was born October 9, 1965, in Newton. He was a graduate of Monroe Senior High, and attended DMACC for one year for auto body. He belonged to the Monte Carlo Auto Club, Milo Masonic Lodge, and was a board member of the Ingles Archery Club.
Survivors are four brothers: Edward and Lorriane White of Newton, Terry and Melody White of Baxter, Tim W. and Susan K White of Newton, and Douglas White and Margaret Brandt of Newton; his mother, Pauline White of Reasnor, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold White on December 29, 1995.
