Services Held
Funeral services were held for Loren A. West of Des Moines at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Des Moines on Saturday, August 31, 1985. Burial was in the Monroe Cemetery.
Loren Alvin West was born Feb. 19, 1915, at Keota, Iowa and passed away August 28, 1985 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Iowa City.
He married Madeline J. Vriezelaar on August 1, 1948.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline, and two daughters, Laura (Rev. Jim) Anderson of Yuba City, Calif., Mary (Mrs. Daniel) Lundgren of Otley, four grandchildren, two brothers, and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
