Services Held
Craig Wayne Wallace, 23, of Reasnor, died Saturday, February 1, 1997, of injuries suffered in an auto accident near Galesburg.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Monroe United Methodist church with the Rev. Karen Merrill, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. Al Sandlin, pastor of the Grinnell Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. Wallace was born Jan. 31, 1974, in Boone. He attended PCM schools.
A custodial worker, he had lived in Reasnor and Monroe.
Survivors include his father and special friend, Jerry Wallace and Sue Crook of Nevada; his mother and step-father, Karen and Charles Aikin of Newton; three step-brothers, Pvt. Eric Aiken of Ft. Lewis, Washington, and Ken Aikin and Keith Aikin, both of Newton; a step-sister, Lora Aikin of Newton; and a brother and his fiancé, Chad Wallace and Kim Little of Linden.
Also surviving are his grandparents, Ruby Wallace of Monroe and Robert and Lela Bennett of Reasnor; a great grandmother; Maude Schrader of Monroe; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Wallace; and a sister, Laura Wallace, in infancy.

Craig Wayne Wallace, 23, of Reasnor died of injuries he suffered in an automobile accident near Galesburg Saturday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Monroe United Methodist Church, with burial at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. Wallace was born in Boone and lived in the Monroe and Reasnor areas all his life. He had been a maintenance worker.
Among survivors are his mother and stepfather, Karen and Charles Aikin of Newton, and his father, Jerry Wallace of Nevada; a brother, Chad of Linden; his grandparents, Ruby Wallace of Monroe and Robert and Lela Bennett of Reasnor; and his great grandmother, Maude Schrader of Monroe.
Friends may call after noon Tuesday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
