Services Held
Lillie Edna Shera of Prairie City died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1986, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.
Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, conducted services. Burial was in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Survivors are four daughters, Mary (Mrs. Marlow) Mendenhall of Baxter, Dorothy (Mrs. Jay) Baumann and Edna (Mrs. Lynn) Orrell, both of Prairie City; and Maxine (Mrs. Forrest) Good of North English; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Anna Ballard of Newton, Rachel (Mrs. Merlin) Brewer of Prairie City and Hazel Miller of Colfax; and three brothers, Tom Smith of Prairie City, Robert Smith of Des Moines and Bert Smith of Wickenburg, Ariz.
