Death of Former Resident
Relatives have received word concerning the death of Floyd Scarbrough of Chino, Calif., who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7.
A 1927 graduate of Monroe high school, he had been a California resident since 1929.
He was preceded in death by his wife just six weeks ago; also by his parents, Ira and Maude Scarbrough and a brother, Rex.
Surviving are three daughters, two grandsons, a brother, Gene, of Newton and two sisters, Nina Matthews of Manassas, Va., and Joye McCauley of Monroe.
Memorial services will be held in Chino Saturday for both Mr. and Mrs. Scarbrough.
