Life Story of Joe Ryke
Joe Ryke, 55, of Otley, a Maytag Co. employee, died Sunday at his home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella.
The Rev. G. LeVerne Hill, pastor of the Pella Open Bible Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Survivors are four brothers, a sister, four nephews, and his mother, Mrs. Jane Ryke of Pella.
Mr. Ryke was a veteran of World War II.
The son of George and Jane Schippers Ryke, he was born December 22, 1918, at Pella and attended Cedar schools.
