Donna K. DeBruyn, 57, of Newton, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at her home in Newton. Private family services will be held. Memorials to the P. I. Foundation at Progress Industries may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton. If mailing, please add, “Attn: DeBruyn Family” to the envelope.

Donna, the daughter of Charles and Rose (Wisecup) DeBruyn, was born September 27, 1958, in Newton, Iowa. She attended the Beacon Light School in Newton. She had lived in the Northwest Progress Industries house for 24 years.

Those left to honor Donna’s memory include her parents, Chuck and Rosie DeBruyn of Newton; her brothers, Dave (Tamara) DeBruyn of Newton and Scott DeBruyn of Des Moines; her sister, Deb (Todd) White of Walsenburg, CO; her nephews, Marc and Devin; and nieces, Kara, Amanda, Lena, and Kristina.
