Life Story of Harry Ross
Harry S. Ross, who resided with a sister, Mrs. Clarence Wilson in Rapid City, S.D., a former longtime Monroe resident, died Monday in Rapid City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23 (today) at the Monroe United Methodist church.
The Rev. Warren McFate, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. Ruby Carlson of Des Moines; a son, Everett Ross of Winterset; and a brother, Zell Ross of Coralville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, in August 1928.
The son of Charles and Almeda Smith Ross, he was born March 10, 1895 in Iowa.
