Services Held
Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1984, at the Second Reformed Church in Pella for Cora (Mrs. Albert) Rietveld of Pella. She died Feb. 18 at the Pella Community Nursing Home. The Rev. Norman Schouten officiated with burial at the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Cora Rietveld was born April 5, 1903, on a farm near Dallas, Iowa, the daughter of James E. Ver Ploeg and Gertrude Vander Wilt Ver Ploeg. On March 20, 1924, she was united in marriage to Albert R. Rietveld. To this union were born: Patricia Ann, Mrs. Elmer Van Waardhuizen of Pella and John A. Rietveld of Otley who survive her along with her husband, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
