Services for Theodore W. “Teddy” Rice, 33, of Reasnor was Friday, October 15, 1999, at the Monroe First Baptist church with Pastor Greg Baum officiating. Interment was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Memorials to a fund in his son’s name will be accepted.
Mr. Rice died Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton following injuries sustained in a construction accident.
The son of Charles and Dixie Hummel Rice, he was born December 21, 1965, in Des Moines. He was a 1984 graduate of Lamar High School in Lamar, Arkansas.
A longtime resident of Reasnor, he previously resided in Lamar and Clarksville, Arkansas. Mr. Rice was a self-employed contractor.
Survivors include a son, Andrew William of Reasnor; a brother, Steve of Des Moines; two sisters, Deena Ellerbusch of Flower Mound, Texas and Becky Soderblom of Reasnor; his parents; and maternal grandparents, John and Ruth Hummel of Galesburg.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
