Life Story of Bill Reed
Bill Dean Reed, 40, passed away Monday morning at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon January 21 (today) at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist church with Rev. Warren McFate officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Bill was the son of Dean Dee Reed and Clara Plock Reed. He was born March 22, 1930, at York, Nebr. and was a graduate of York High School. He was a mechanic until coming to Monroe in 1960.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Clara Babcock of York, Nebr.; a son, Dean Charles Reed of York, Nebr.; a daughter, Crestonne Reed of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Victor Keller; and two nephews, Robert Keller and Ben Dean Keller of Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1949 and an infant brother.
