Services Held
Ralph B. “Rip” Perry, 83, of Prairie City died Tuesday, October 31, 1989, at the Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 4 at the Prairie City United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Al Kinrade, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Bessie, and three brothers, John, Jim and Charles.
Mr. Perry a former member of the Prairie City Lions Club and the Modern Woodmen of the World, was the bin superintendent for the Jasper County ASCS until his retirement.
The son of Fred and Mary Breen Perry, he was born December 23, 1905 at Otley.
He was married to Hazel McKeever July 5, 1928 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
