Services Held
Funeral services for Dale Arthur Pendroy, 71, of Monroe were held Saturday, March 21, 1987, at the First Presbyterian Church in Monroe.
The Revs. Roger and Gretchen Graf, pastors of the church, conducted services. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. Pendroy died Thursday at his home.
Survivors are his wife, Mae; four sons, James of Monroe, Jack of Chaska, Minn., Richard of Monroe and Donald of Merrill, Wis., two daughters, Diane (Mrs. Sid) Vander Ploeg of Ankeny and Janet (Mrs. Steve) Bacus of Knoxville; and 14 grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Beulah Stewart of Monroe and Faye Bohlen of Waverly. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl.
The son of Edgar and Tempa Wilson Pendroy, he was born Sept. 1, 1915, in Jasper County.
He was married to Mae Taylor Aug. 30, 1942 in Lancaster. Mo.
