Services Held
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 20, 1982, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home for Morris Pearson. Rev. Jerry Wolcott officiated with interment in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Morris Pearson, son of Henry Clay and Vera Williams Pearson, was born in Memphis, Mo., on May 24, 1926. He died at the Pella Community Hospital on April 16, 1982.
He was united in marriage to Esther Marshall on July 9, 1949, in Macon, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, Esther, 2 daughters, Mrs. Allan (Linda) Rundall of Cedar Falls and Judy Pearson of Des Moines; 5 sons, Joe of Monroe, Jeff of Des Moines, Jack of Pella, Jerry of Newton and Jim of Monroe; 7 grandchildren, his mother, Vera Bump of Monroe; 2 brothers Henry Pearson, Jr. of Fort Collins, Colo., and Arthur of Cambria, Calif., three sisters Mrs. Bill (Billie) Rigsby of Start, La., Jackie Pearson of Monroe and Mrs. Betty Gasiorowski of San Jose, Calif.
Preceding him in death were his father and sister, Margaret.
