Newton – Jerry A. Pearson, 53, died Friday, July 17, 2009. Memorial services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2009, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Jerry was born June 13, 1956, to Morris and Esther Pearson in Monroe and spent most of his adult life in Newton. He worked in construction for many years and enjoyed going West with his brother, watching Westerns on T.V., and spending time with friends, and the outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his sisters, Linda (Alan) Rundall and Judy Singer; brothers, Joe, Jeff, Jack, and Jim Pearson; many nieces and nephews; and a host of beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
