Services Held
Funeral services for Eleanor G. Owens of Pella were held Thursday, Nov. 8, 1984, at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home. Rev. Otto Steele officiated with interment in Graceland Cemetery.
She died Nov. 5, 1984 at the Pella Community Hospital.
She was born March 11, 1901, at Grinnell, Iowa to Charles and Mae Beard Morgan. She was united in marriage to Earl Owens on August 25, 1926 in Des Moines. To this union one daughter, Neola June was born.
She is survived by her family: Richard and Neola Sukkel of Reasnor; her grandchildren: Marlys and Pete DeVries, Mark Sukkel; and three great grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters: Mrs. Hiram (Ruth) Sutton, Pella; Mrs. Thomas (Allie) Schrader of Kellogg; Mrs. Harry (Doris) Johnson of Des Moines; and Mrs. Fred (Florence) Warren of Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; parents; and four brothers: Emerson, Paul, Clyde and Wayne Morgan.
