Services for Bernice Otte were held on Friday, Nov. 21, 1986, in Sidney, Iowa with interment there. Mrs. Otte, 92, died Nov. 18, 1986 at Parkridge Manor Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
Bernice Bobbitt Otte was born in Knox, Iowa on Sept. 22, 1894, the daughter of Emmet Bobbitt and Minnie Keyser Bobbitt, and the granddaughter of Fremont County pioneers. She married Charles A. Otte on April 22, 1917.
Preceded in death by her husband, a son, Max, who was killed in service in World War II, and a grandchild, Judy Tool Dunaway, she is survived by her two daughters, Marjorie Tool Dawson of Monroe, and Norma Johnson of Des Moines, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
