Services Held
Services for Lewis D. Miller of Prairie City were held Friday, April 14, 1995, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Marvin Ingle officiated the services.
Burial was in Vandalia Cemetery in Prairie City.
Mr. Miller passed away Tuesday, April 11, 1995 at Clearview Manor.
The son of Dave and Emma Blood Miller, Lewis was born in Runnells. He married Pearl Gulling May 27, 1920. He was a farmer in the Runnells area until moving to Prairie City. He was a resident of Prairie City for 20 years.
He was a member of the Camp Center Church of Christ in Runnells and Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Harry Miller, 2 sisters, Mable Baker and Ony Vaughn.
Survivors are his wife Pearl of Prairie City; a son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Kathryn Miller of Runnells; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles Miller of Ivy and one sister, Icle Hawkins of Newton.
