Life Story of Alice Miller
Mrs. Loris (Alice) Miller, 58, a longtime resident of Monroe, died Friday morning at the home of her son, Merlin Miller of Lynnville.
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Warren McFate, pastor of the church conducted the services. Burial was in Hewitt Cemetery.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brenda, Robin and Lorella Miller, all of Lynnville; and two brothers, George Kane of Blairs Mills, Pa., and Wilber Kane of Orchard, Nebr.
She was preceded in death by her husband July 31, 1959; her parents; and a son, Marvin Earl, in 1937.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church, the Monroe American Legion Auxiliary, and the TMTM Club of Monroe.
The daughter of Ira Albert and Alice Bell Wallace Kane, she was born October 6, 1913, at Fairmont.
She was married to Loris Miller October 23, 1934, in Monroe.
