Norman Ralph Waddle
June 18, 1932 - July 18, 2016

Norman Ralph Waddle, age 84 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Newton Healthcare in Newton. Private graveside services will be held at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Memorials may be directed to either the Prairie City or Monroe Fire Department or Ambulance Fund. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of Ralph and Margery (Webster) Waddle, Norman was born on June 18, 1932, in Marion County, Iowa. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1951. On December 18, 1954, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Butler in Pella. Norman worked at Pella Corp for 35 years and farmed. He enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows to listen to music and visit with friends, attending farm auctions, gardening and going to the Iowa State Fair.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Sheryl (Bill) Jennings of Prairie City, Steven Waddle of Pella, and Stuart (Mary Tratchel) Waddle of Galesburg; two granddaughters, Lindsey (Zach) Schippers and Molly Jennings; his brother, Donnie (Betty) Waddle of Monroe; his sister, Freda Waddle of Newton and his ex-wife, Phyllis Butler of Pella.

Preceding Norman in death were his parents and a brother Gene Waddle. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home,Colfax Iowa 18 July 2016.
