Services Held
Funeral services for Audrene Mildred Jacobs McLucas, 79, a resident of Monroe since 1972, were held Friday at the Monroe First Baptist Church.
The Rev. John Adams, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. McLucas died Tuesday, July 16, 1991, at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md.
Survivors are her husband, Harold; two sons, Ronald of Fort Ashby, W. Va., and Robert of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Janet of Monroe; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, three brothers and a stepfather.
Mrs. McLucas was a member of the Monroe First Baptist Church.
Mrs. McLucas resided in Leon and for 45 years in Des Moines before moving to Monroe.
The daughter of James William and Hattie May Rogers Jacobs, she was born April 9, 1912, in Garden Grove. She was a graduate of Des Moines North High School.
She was married to Harold Vernon McLucas April 9, 1931, in Des Moines.
