Services Held
Funeral services for Glenn E. McConeghey, 92, of Monroe, was held Friday, Feb. 2, 1990 at the Monroe Baptist Church.
Rev. John Adams, pastor of the church conducted services. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
He died Tuesday at the Clear View Manor in Prairie City.
Survivors are two daughters, Dolores (Mrs. Phil) Ammer of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Donna (Mrs. Harold) Heyveld of Monroe; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Olive (Mrs. Howard) Finn of Newton and Faye (Mrs. Fred) Kane of Chariton.
He was preceded inn death by his parents, wife, Mabel, a brother, three sisters and a great-granddaughter.
The son of John M. and Viola George McConeghey, he was born Feb. 16, 1897 in Jasper County.
He was married to Mabel Fennema July 16, 1918.
