Joan Luzadder passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 3, 2006, at her residence at Prairie Village in Pella at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Joan Ann Lahvic was born on April 27, 1934, at Chicago, Illinois a daughter of the late Roy D. and Margaret McCarthy Lahvic. Joan, the mother of two daughters, Caryn Ann and Jamie Ann, lived in Illinois and Oskaloosa, Iowa until moving to Pella, Iowa.
Those who will cherish her memory are her daughter, Jamie A. Vos of Otley, Iowa; a son-in-law, Terry (Tate) McMillian of Oskaloosa; 7 grandchildren; Chris S. Vos, Nicole M. Vos and Emily R. Klein all of Otley; Channa McMillian, Crystal McMillian, Brian Slycord, Kelly Slycord all of Oskaloosa; one precious great-granddaughter, Kaydance C. Siedlecki; a dear brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shirley Lahvic of Pella and sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Tom Borman of Ridgway, Colorado; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Joan was preceded in death by her devoted husbands, Delos B. Mull and George E. Luzadder; her oldest daughter, Caryn A. McMillian; her parents; and her loving brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Anna Lahvic.
The family prefers memorials be given to Hospice of Pella in lieu of flowers.
