Services Held
Bessie B. Lust, 100, of Clearview Manor in Prairie City, died Saturday, March 7, 1987 at the Manor.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Altoona Regular Baptist Church.
Burial was in the Mitchellville Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, Ed, of Mitchellville; four daughters, Thelma Johnson of Knoxville and Elsie (Mrs. Cloyd) Anderson, Helen (Mrs. William) Lincoln and Maxine Smith, all of Mitchellville, several grandchildren, nieces, and a sister, Mildred Steenhoek of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George L., a son, Maynard, two sisters, her twin, Jessie Honnold and Ora Tool and two brothers Royd North and Frank North.
The daughter of Frank and Anna North, she was born Jan. 11, 1887 in Marshalltown.
