Funeral services for Leona Lanphier, 79, of Reasnor will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Reasnor United Methodist Church.

Services held
Funeral services were held for Leona Lanphier July 19, 1984 at the United Methodist Church in Reasnor. Rev. Dean Shelly officiated with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Killduff, Iowa.
Leona Irene De Penning, the daughter of Lain and Rosa Weideman De Penning, was born in rural Jasper County on July 26, 1904 and passed away at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines on July 17, 1984.
She was united in marriage to Arnet Glenn Lanphier on December 10, 1924 at the Methodist Parsonage in Killduff, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1945.
She is survived by three sons; Delmar of Vancouver, Wash., Ivan of Reasnor and Kenneth of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Hueston (Twyla Jean) McJunkins of Malvern, Ark. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Rozelle (La Verna) Blackwood of Newton.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a son Merlin Francis and a grandchild.
