Life Story of William A. Koopman
Funeral services for William A. Koopman, 48, of Pella held February 15 at the First Baptist Church in Pella. Rev. W. L. Joiner officiated. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery.
The Van Veen-Van Hemert Post No. 89 rendered military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Mae; a daughter, CaRita, and a son, Curtis, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Fae Koopman of Pella; and a brother, Gerald of Cedar Rapids.
Mr. Koopman passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii, February 11. He had spent most of his life in Pella. He served in the armed services in World War II from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pella.
Mrs. Koopman is the former Cornelia Mae Aalbers of Otley.
