William A. Miller Dies at Clarion; Services Pending
William A. Miller, 53, of Clarion, a resident of Newton from 1913 until 1959, died early today at Clarion.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Johnson Funeral Home in Newton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Margaret; a son, Dale, of Newton; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Trotter of Cedar Falls; a step-son, Larry Bielefield of Des Moines; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Miller of Newton, and 11 grandchildren.
He also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. W. (Marian) Kindred of Maricopa, Calif.; and Mrs. W. B. (Margaret) Bunn of Newton.
Mr. Miller was a grocery and restaurant operator.
Born Oct. 27, 1909 in Venita, Okla., he moved to Newton with his parents in 1913. He resided in Newton until 1959 when he moved to Clarion.

William Miller Rites To Be Held Saturday
Funeral services for William A. Miller, 53, of Clarion, former longtime resident of Newton, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Kellogg.
The Rev. Arthur V. Long, minister of the First Methodist Church in Newton, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery at Kellogg.
The casket will not be opened.
Mr. Miller was a member of the American Legion.

William Arthur Miller Rites Conducted Today
Funeral services for William Arthur Miller, 53, of Clarion, former longtime resident of Newton were held this morning at the Johnson Funeral Home at Kellogg.
The Rev. Arthur V. Long, minister of the First Methodist Church in Newton, conducted the services. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery at Kellogg.
Mrs. R. I. Jackson was the organist.
Pallbearers were Gerald Miller, Floyd Reynolds, Cliff Hummel, Marvin Steenhoek, Emerson Scoville and Foster Reynolds.
