Services Today For Mrs. Ora Balmer
Funeral services will be held this morning (Thursday) at the Evans Funeral Home in Knoxville for Mrs. Ora (Beatrice) Balmer, 79, who died Monday morning at Collins Hospital in Knoxville.
Mrs. Balmer was born east of Monroe to George and Belle Tool Marshall.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Vivian) Karr of Monroe and two sons, Burton Balmer of Knoxville and Donald Balmer of Columbia, Iowa.

Services For Mrs. Balmer--Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Balmer, who died June 28 at Collins Memorial Hospital, was held July 1 from Evans Arlington Chapel with Rev. J. Roland Crandall officiating. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery.
Casket bearers were George Hawk, Melvin Gilbert, John Beebe, John Irving, Merl Price and Bob McCorkle. Mrs. Guy Anderson was organist.
Beatrice Alice, daughter of George F. and Belle Tool Marshall, was born August 20, 1885 in Jasper county. On September 15, 1910 she was married to Ora Balmer and spent her entire life in the Monroe and Knoxville areas.
She was a member of Monroe Methodist Church. Her husband, parents and three sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors are her two sons Burton and Donald and daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Vivian) Karr; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and Hubert Marshall, both of Monroe and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Beamer, Torrington, Wyoming, and Mrs. Ralph (Francis) Sheeler, of Otley, Iowa.
